Nike Shuts Down the Internet of Shoes
Support for the Adapt App, the app the controls the self-lacing, illuminated Adapt line of sneakers will end on August 6th. Owners of the shoes (which retailed between $350 and $720, depending on the model) will be able to control the lacing function with onboard buttons, but will lose access to all lighting features.
